facebook has its surprising advantages. firstly, tiny thumbnails make following friends' posts much easier.
secondly, the 'like' button replaces most comments people make. you no longer need to invent new ways to say that you like something.
these are surprising because they are trivial and i never thought of them as advantages before i actually saw them implemented.
yeah, facebook is also ad-plagued worse than lj and it limits the maximum image size.
