yeah, right, the dogs on the last picture are feral. they were lying in some down before we disturbed them, hence the white noses the black dog is growling at nyusha. dogs are very territorial as you probably know, and nyusha enjoys going around the town teasing feral dogs - being under our protection as she is
usually you can pet them, if they don't run away. stories about troops of dogs attacking humans circulate here, and certainly it depends on psychological factors as well as on the size of the troop. if you're scared of dogs, they certainly will be aggrassive to you much more often. some people feed them, they also feed off garbage places and maybe hunt sometimes (although i have never seen that). dogs leaving by/at marketplaces and subway stations are always well fed and usually fat: http://www.livejournal.com/users/vriad_lee/161760.html

Yeah, people seem reluctant to post pictures as much as I would like. Though recently there has been more discussion, there has been a lot of pictures in the past.
