Gorgeous. By the way, do you know this little English play on words? "Oi, no bollocks!" shouted the man at the spayed tom cat. He liked to call a spade a spade.
No, in this case +no bollocks+ means literally that the spayed creature doesn't have any balls. To call a spade (lopatka) a spade means to express yourself very clearly (nazivat veshi svoem imeni? Sorry, my grammar might not be quite right.)
yes, but i thought there was supposed to be an additional meaning (word play), so i decided that 'no bollocks' was also an idiom. the right way to say it is 'называть вещи СВОИМИ ИМЕНАМИ' also, to reply to a comment (and not to the orginal post) you should click the link right under the comment you want to reply to
Thanks for the grammar tip. Sorry, I'm a bit slow with the links but I'm gettin used to it. By the way, is it extreme otstoi to be using yahoo and hotmail?
using yahoo for search is weird because they usually 'google it' these days. as about hotmail, i don't know, i use a local mail client, so email provider doesn't matter much, but if you keep your mail on the server, then i guess you should try gmail if you want to be sil'no krutaya :)
