See? Gender-ambiguous. He's perfect for you!

A poll - now you're a paid LJer, you can do polls! So do a "shall I keep the kitty" poll, and let democracy decide the issue!

We want to watch him grow up, and who better to chronicle that than you?

to tell you the truth, i mistook his/her bulging anal orifice for testicles. rather embarrassing, i know. but on second check there were no testicles! i don't know if small kittens are supposed to have testicles though, i need to find out.

actually, my mother did that when i was a kid. she got a new kitten and thought it was a boy, then found out it was a girl :) i think it happens a lot.

Oh, democracy exists alright - I've seen sporadic evidence of it!

Haven't a clue - speak Russian!

yes, i know i suck. the right way to say it is: делать опросы в живом журнале - это плохой тон!
natasha has been back for a couple of days, but that wasn't the deciding factor. if anything, pushka's gender was!

Polls are fine here, as it's a bit difficult to multi-vote.

And what's wrong with democracy, anyway?

if anything, pushka's gender was!

Of course - a tabby will provide you with even more kitties in due course! Cat's Rule! (http://stillcarl.livejournal.com/273072.html)

polls and memes are popular, which is mauvais ton. democracy means 'rule by the people' (ie majoritarian tyranny), which is mauvais ton.
i will feed the bastard with libido suppression pills (or how are they called?)to prevent any multiplication, which is (as well as lust itself btw) mauvais ton. do i make myself clear?

Yeah - you're a snob! ;-)

We've sort of tamed the 'majoritarian tyranny' here, (or actually made it more real), by switching from first past the post elections to proportional representation ones. In practice this restricts what governments can do, as they always need the support of some minor party or the other. Less happens when they always need 50%+ of the vote, and certainly less bad legislation.
