Of course there is no need to state the obvious. I do have numerous american friends, they are absolutely lovely as individuals, i'm totally in love with NYC, and i'm glad and grateful the Us came to save our butts, twice, in the past century.
Those wars were not so long ago indeed, and international cooperation has been undertaken in order to prevent such kind of awful nonsense from ever happening again. The UN has been created, crime courts have been installed, treaties have been signed. They are far from perfect, that is as obvious as the rest, and as such shouldn't even need to be mentionned, but that's all we have for now, and and withouth them we are back into the middle age, back to the law of the jungle where the stongest rules and the others shut up. That is not my vision of the future, however full of good intentions the strongest is.
