i have no idea what may have happened to the crow as her feathers appear to be cut rather than torn. crows are very versatile in self-expression, they have more different postures than any other bird i know of. in the photo were you say she looks like a penguin i think she actually pretended to be a bittern. i think she imagined to be invisible on the pile of asphalt. here's an example: http://vriad-lee.livejournal.com/127815.html the cow is about 20 inches - huge for a needle-felted animal. natasha gives me some technical tips now and then, of course!
