some people still believe that dogs don't fall in love. that is obviously untrue. the first time i learned about the phenomenon was from my mother who as a child witnessed a passionate and long-lasting love affair between a husky-like (but smaller) bitch Lada that lived in their shared apartment and their neighbors' huge black poodle.
as you should know from my photos (well, and my behavior), there's no shortage of bitches in Balashikha town. but my parents' black setter Day is desperately and hopelessly in love with a married mother of 2 pups that lives at the dump near the bird clinics not far from my house. today, we paid a visit to his turtledove's family.














i think she's quite aware of his feelings. but on the other hand, why should she care?
