the first one - we found him in a puddle yesterday; when the feathers dried he flew away. we found the second one earlier, he died overnight

ah, found one like that some time ago too.
Fed him and took care of him for a good while.
*those beasts have a nifty way to suck on one's fingers*

Then, trained him to try and fly.
As he was about to be able to make it,
some day, in the morning, not being very
well waken up - i stepped onto the thingee,
and he died the next day. Duh.

i read about nurturing swifts, it's not easy. you have to feed them with insects seven times a day.
i haven't sent you the bear yet, but i will.

Indeed. My Dad had a cockatiel that used to follow him around - until he shut a door on him one day. :-(
