pretty birds.I can't believe the poor canaries survived without their legs! Did you do anything to help them?? I mean like bandage them or anything??
I wouldn't know what to do to a bird leg.

One of the legs had been bitten off completely, and we didn't do anything. The leg of the other canary had to be amputeted. But they recovered very quickly and seemed quite happy the very next day! It causes them some inconvenience now when they sit on the perch, but otherwise they are as happy as the yellow one (with two legs)

I have many birds and work in a parrot rescue .. its amazing what they can live with and without. One of my cockatiels has 1/2 a wing and no toes!
The birds hop up the birds fly down
they love to eat seeds on the ground
It matters not they have no toes
They just go as going goes!
