these crows live by the fox mountain. it's a 'fox' mountain because there's a 'fur farm' at the foot of it. and the crows live off the bodies of the little furry animals that are thrown away (ok, they are no longer furry by then)

Or it could be The Birds (duh)! Actually the birds in Kansas seem to be flying around all erratically lately. I'm sure it's weather related, but it still freaks me out.
