P.S I very much like all the pictures you post. They tend to be bleak, depressing, and very, very human. I think I would have to kill myself if I lived where you do, I live in the U.S, and I am still depressed all the time anyway!
ann is my niece! it's not as depressing as it looks in my photos. i think it might be much less depressing than living in usa, in some respects, if you're lucky enough. although i really don't know much about usa. and in fact i think that living in russia might mobilize you. or it might not, and then you would have to kill yourself!
I found you on altphoto and I TOTALLY ENVY your pictures. They are absolutely magnificant, especially with the children. And the little boy smoking? I swear, that was probably how my dad was 40 years ago. I'm half Hungarian, and although it is anything but Slavic, your pictures really do capture everything there is about Eastern Europe, and I think it's amazing. I just want to fly over there. If you don't mind, I would like to add you to my friend's list, if it's okay? Thanks.
