my sister runs a computer game firm. they are localizing some french game now, and she asked me to ask you this: there is a woman in the game, who is described as being 'proche du roi'. the translators can't agree about this definition, one of them says 'she's certainly the king's mistress', the other says, 'no, "proche du roi" could as well mean that she's his relative, or a confidant' who's right?
Yeah yeah, you deprive people from something they didn't want in the first place, it frustrates them, they want your picture very bad, you end up posting it, they then have no choice but totally love it, and love you, or it'd be admitting they were wrong otherwise. You clever dog.
Ah, proche du roi sounds very sexually neutral to me, it rather sounds to me like a confident indeed, an éminence grise, that one who stays in the shadows and provides nasty advices at times.
no, no, no. nobody wants my pictures but my virtual girlfriend/crush. but she doesn't give me hers, and i have to press, beg, and extort, and that's what it's all about. if i were a clever dog, i'd have her naked on my desktop a long time ago, and god knows i don't.
