ingmar bergman's wild strawberries (http://imdb.com/title/tt0050986/). it's actually a beautiful, sad, wonderful film, although i can understand being amused by this still if you haven't seen the movie.
oh, it's bergman! i haven't seen it. i used to be a great fan of bergman once. i don't know if i'm still his fan, because i haven't seen any of his films in a long while.
his latest and last film, saraband, just came out here in the US a couple of months ago. it was a thirty years later sequel to scenes from a marriage. it wasn't one of my favorites, but it was excellent. bergman's eighty-three years old now!
