I'm weird it seems, compared to most online. In that I don't surf the net mostly during work-hours, and when I am online in the evenings, most of the Northern Hemisphere is in bed. Russia though, seems an exception. Either that or you're weird too. :-)

I don't drink the green tea either, (or eat the yellow snow;), so I guess I drink the normal stuff. It comes in teabags and is called Bell. Or Chosa, though that's not how you spell it - and I can't be bothered finding out. (The supermarkets have a huge range, actually - I just don't bother experimenting.)
Are Russians big tea drinkers? NZers are, though coffee's probably slowly taking over.
yes, tea is the traditional drink in russia et cetera, although i don't remember when it made it's way here, probably not so very long ago. russians drink it hot. tea is 'chi' (pronounced like 'china' without 'na') in russian.
