I had no idea that Russia was at war with Vietnam. I thought Afghanistan was your last ill fated adventure ? Oh wait, is the above Vietnamese Prisoner a mercenary for the Chechen Rebels that you happened to capture ? LOLove.
Huh, you must be mistaken, American soldiers always treat prisoners well. After they liberate them from the enslavement of Fascism, Communism and other miscellaneous evil rulers they hand out Hershey Bars and Nylon Stockings and then re-build their cities and towns and give them billions in foreign aid. And everyone lives happily ever ! LOLove.
Yeah sure and chickens have lips. I am well aware of how the KGB dstorts and fakes evidence. I've read about Russian Show Trials. You ain't fooling no one here ! ha ha ha . . . LOLove.
Uh uh, and i'm pretty that version would be happily acknowledged by the lucky pensioners of the Abu Grahib resort. Those who got a torch shoved up their ass, menstruation blood put over their face, and were piled up naked into sophisticated'n'joyful pyramids.
Well, i mean, that would be acknowledged, only by those who could survive it.
You know I never could figure out of why so much fuss was made over that. First off the prisoners were not soldiers but Terrorist Cowards and Scum, as well as a few common criminals and as such were not covered under the Geneva Convention Rules regarding prisoners of war. And second off , the so-called torture consisted of what, being tied together naked with their homosexual comrades or being made to stand up for several hours naked ? At it's worst it paled compared to what their former boss, Sadam, had done to innocent Women and children. And third, it was a aberration of the character of the overwhelming majority of American Soldiers and further more those responsible were arrested and sentenced to prison, unlike the Vichy French that allied with and collaborated with Nazi Germany and after WWII went on to reclaim their colonial Empire and torture thousands of ARABS In Algeria. LOLove.
Hopefully they'll first get rotten from the inside first, eating fat hamburgers, driving big polluting trucks, and watching the last Bruce Willis as only cultural event.
Then civilized people who actually want to act in a civilized manner can get together and build something a bit more exciting than Britney Spears and Coke for all.
well, but you certainly want them to do all the dirty work first, like taking down taliban and all those numerous threats that could be an annoyance to us, civilized people?
Things are reaching such a point, that i wonder if their influence is now more an appeasing factor than a source of tensions.
Why does Iran need weapons of mass destruction weapons so much - seriously ?
Not even mentionning, that omniscient and sickening praise of the military, the denying of international treaties and the systematic bashing of international institutions.
Not understanding why so much fuss was made over that silly little story of torture, well, okay, some people died, but well, you know, things happen, and they were bad dudes, and you know Saddam was worst than us. And other people did bad things too.
This beginning of millenium is a step back in civilisation. But they will get rotten, i'm confident.
well, i don't want to insist that bush is my favorite celebrity, but *their* role is at least controversial now. and regardless of that role, to wish *them* to *rot from the inside* is a little (a tiny bit) too much, especially considering the fact that half of *their* population doesn't support bush's policy. i'm not even getting into the evident fact that *their* culture isn't limited to spears, coke [and whatever]. and of course i don't want to remind you about *their* role in the war with one of the more civilized european nations not so long ago
Of course there is no need to state the obvious. I do have numerous american friends, they are absolutely lovely as individuals, i'm totally in love with NYC, and i'm glad and grateful the Us came to save our butts, twice, in the past century.
Those wars were not so long ago indeed, and international cooperation has been undertaken in order to prevent such kind of awful nonsense from ever happening again. The UN has been created, crime courts have been installed, treaties have been signed. They are far from perfect, that is as obvious as the rest, and as such shouldn't even need to be mentionned, but that's all we have for now, and and withouth them we are back into the middle age, back to the law of the jungle where the stongest rules and the others shut up. That is not my vision of the future, however full of good intentions the strongest is.
this as quite undeniable, but i don't see how this goes with wishing that those-stupid-spears-loving-truck-driving americans rot inside and all that stuff
*They* had a chance to get rid of the freak, he had made an outstanding demonstration of his abilties, and... *they* elected him with an even greater majority. I conclude that obviously, *they* have different values and different priorities.
It's not the end of the world. Let whatever has to happen to them happen now, we have warned as much as we could about dangerous lines being crossed, and we got fairly enough insulted in return.
So yeah, let them get rotten on their part of the atlantic, if that can spare us further absurd wars, or let's hope they open their eyes and realize this is a dead-end way they have taken, with this brutalistic testoterone-driven approach - that is the optimisitic version. In any case, i have ceased to care much.
Ahhhh Yes, such a mistake it was to come save your sorry French Asses not once but twice and allow you to re-enslave your former colonies like "French" Indochina and "French" West Africa and the Island Nations in the South Pacific, ect . . . as well as lending your sorry ass nation billions of dollars under the Marshall Plan to re-build your sorry ass nation, after you capitulated to the Germans and then aligned yourselves w/them, as well as with the Imperial Japanese in your sphere of influence in Asia, that you have neglected to pay back other than in your ingratitude and self serving pompous self rightness illusion of grandeur and power. Or maybe the crooked deals that your government made with Sadam with the Oil for Food Program or the help you gave him to build that nuclear reactor in the 80's ? Gawd, you French are like Dog Shit that one finds they've stepped on during a stroll during a bright and sunny day in the park. Maybe you just need to go bomb kill and maim some more civilians in west Africa next week, that'll make you feel like a World Power, huh ?
Oh i doubt not you would stick a bullet between my eyes were i around. But except for proving my point you are not adding much there.
The world and my country not being perfect doesn't provide any kind of justification for eroding the rule of law, spiting on international institutions and blatantly disregarding human rights.
Especially not for the land of the free, the home of the brave, and the finest of the finest.
This being said, i hope you mind not if i pompously ignore any subsequent insult.
I apologize to you Virad Lee. There is no excuse for that Frenchmen's ignorance and crude behavior. As well as for my response, but not the truth of same, to his self serving pompous hypocritical statements. LOLove.
ha ha ha . . . I do not blame you. Playing the role of meditator is not so easy huh ? ha ha ha . . .Anyway, I truly do apologize for this thread becoming what it had. If the Frenchman simply did not involve himself in our original jesting with one another, sigh. Oh well, in closing I love your ability to play with me at times with our mutual dry and sometimes sarcastic and yes, twisted as well, humor ! LOLove.
mmm . . . Are you really that naive ? I mean do you think that your beloved Estonia would be a Independent Nation today if it were not for the U S A and particular President Reagan and his policies ? As far as Iraq goes time is required to defeat the remnants of the Sadam's former regime as well as the terrorist cells that only wish to bring anarchy and misery to the vast majority of Iraq's citizens that only wish to create a civilized and democratic society for themselves. By the way, it is difficult, to say the least, to rebuild a country while the aforementioned destructive elements continue to cause death and destruction without care to women, children and peaceful men. LOLove.
By the way, my mutual banter with vriad_lee is best to stay out of unless you can appreciate and understand the innocent play on words & such that we have. For you are the second person to misunderstand it's content. LOLove.
