Probably not, actually. Lots of animals were introduced here to make it feel just like Old Blighty, hence we've had rabbit and red deer infestations, and no doubt others I can't think of at the moment. Oh yes, and Captain Cook introduced pigs, and so they've always been part of our wild fauna, but I don't think they've ever been considered an infestation anywhere. Possibly because hunting them's too much fun...

poor swine! have they come to this land only to have their posterity dog-hunted and devoured? their forced immigration not being called 'infestation' only because, unlike dumb marsupials stuck in their evolutionary cycle, they are fair game at their new home!
