OK this drawing is fabulous.... I love the bird. and the whole composition. How large is it? Hard to guess.... How's the crow? Does she just roost on the edge of the box or does she go in a settle down?
it's an A4. the crow spends most of her day on the edge of the box, it seems that she feels safe there. although we nearly brush her in passing as her box is right in the way if you go to the kitchen.
That's excellent! Quite apart from the bird, which has a wonderful shocked look in its eye, I love the grassiness, as indeed I appreciated the hairiness of your Goth girl. So glad you are gaining confidence with your drawing. I had a good look at your site. Many of the pictures were familiar, of course, but it was great to see them exhibited so well :)))
thank you! i feel a little disappointed with it in the morning though. the bird is a bittern inspired by charushin who is a famous illustrator of children's books. here are some drawings: http://www.bibliogid.ru/authors/hud/rasskazyohud/charushin
Yes, I thought it was a bittern, the bird that booms! Charushkin is marvellous, of course. Thanks for the link. As for your post-coital disappointment, that's natural. Look again in another week or so and you will see what is delighting all your viewers :))
we have a huge heap of children's books illustrated y him (and other cool illustrators working in different styles), i'll scan and post them some day. most of these books come from flea-markets where we buy them for around 10 roubles apiece :)
