I have been creating art work of some kind my entire life. I spent 25 years as a sculptor, but have many other interest in different media. Not only have I been creating art, I have a lifetime of viewing others art. One of my interests has been photography-mostly cats, and nature. My partner and myself spent five years on a book of photography of one of our cats named Thomas. We have not been able to get the book published-just getting started. Thomas recently died of heart disease, and we have stepped away from trying to do with anything more with this book for now, "Living With Thomas". Thomas seemed to try and understand life more than any animal I have had the great pleasure of knowing.
The point of all of this is to say many of your cat photos capture "the" animal personality, or some part of it. Since photography is not our main medium, our book was quite a challenge. The book is about a life. I am 56 years old and have never been moved more by anyones photograpy than yours. Not just the cat photos-all of your work. Each and every photo has captured a mood that sends the viewer straight to the time and place the photo was taken. You have obviously mastered the camera and your sense of passion for what you do is obvious.
