nyusha died this morning. these are her latest photos. there are many of her photos taken over the two or so years that i didn't post, maybe now i will look for them and put here.

i am so, so sorry. she had such a special life with you and natasha. you gave her so much love, and i know she gave you so much in return. also, by sharing her photos, people all over the world (like me) got to share that love with you all. i'm so sorry for your loss.

oh god. this is so, so sad to see... i don't even know the dog and i feel like crying! i am so heartbroken to hear the news. i hope you're doing okay... even from the photographs, i could tell she was absolutely a wonderful dog. rest in peace nyusha.

I"m so, so, sorry. I don't know if they have similar stories in Russia but here in the States we have this sort of folk tale about how dogs go to this place called the Rainbow Bridge and wait for their people to come up so they can go with them into heaven. It's a happy place full of toys and fields to run around in and nobody fights or anything. I hope she's there now. I'll let Ezzie (icon) know she's coming so they can be friends.

So very sad to hear of Nyusha's passing. Through all the photos you have posted of Nyusha, I was felt I knew her better than I do some of the local dogs who live near me. Had a good life with you, that dog did.

I am saddened to hear about her passing. I thought she was a beautiful and graceful dog. With the weight loss apparent in the photos, she appeared more frail but always lovely. I only knew her through your photographs but her apparent vulnerability made me feel tender towards her. I am sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Nyusha ... Her pictures showed her love for the two of you ...it was in her eyes. And loving people is all a dog really wants .... after a huge dinner of course... and a good belly rub... and a good cat chase...and you let her do all this so she was a very happy dog

Oh.... I am so sorry for your loss. She was beautiful, I adored every single picture of her. She is the only dog (besides mine) I ever dreamed about.

She was so lucky to have you, she will live forever in the pictures and memories you made with her and shared with so many people.

She will wait for you at Rainbow Bridge. My Roxy girl is waiting there for me... maybe they will play together in the meantime. :-)
