i didn't recognize myself. i thought: that person certainly looks a lot like me, but those two kids are exactly like me and my brother, so it must be someone else. those are previously unprinted photos by my father, who's a perfectionist and wouldn't print pictures he thought weren't interesting enough

Oh, and the baby on his knees - is he your brother? As he looks like the guy you were making mud pies with (elsewhere) - so is he your brother?

Time can make photos more interesting. The boring and commonplace now won't be in years to come.
