это очень приятное дело! а где вы иглы купили? просто качество игл имеет значение - самые лучшие я пока нашел на ebay - звездообразные. если хотите, потом ссылку дам.
that's the first line, and the second is: she's got a ton of meat with that enormous size! i didn't shoot her ugly angles, but if you look at her side a little from behind, her head looks ugly. it must be a serious challenge for sculptors - to make an object look right from every angle - i wasn't aware of it before. :)
it's quite a learning curve, i am sure! as photographers, we're used to getting "the best side" and not worrying about the rest. i love the way you put those little bone humps on her backside ;)
Ahhh, I remember talking to you about your cow a long time ago ... she is beautiful and you have done a fantastic job. I have seen your other work and you are improving by the minute. What creature is next to be created? You're going to give Nastasha competition. Let me know when your work is for sale :) hee hee
hee hee hee :) in fact, we are planning to join forces with natasha , by renting a booth at a moscow toy fair in april. coming up next is either a crow or a realistic pig to match the cow, i haven't decided yet. by the way, cow and crow sound similar in russian too: korova and vorona. as for selling, i was honestly going to try to sell this cow to justify my toy-making, but ended up wasting so much time on it, that no price seems adequate now. let's see if i do faster with the pig/crow next time :)
I am so excited for you. I think the toy fair will prove very successful for you not to mention being a blast! Can't wait to see the crow or pig. You have a different flavor to your work, like your drawings, your felting has mystery to it. While Natasha's are open, whimsical and humorous. Can I ask how long did the cow take? Are we talking months and months? :)
we're talking months and months of sporadic work, so what it boils down to in terms of net time i don't know - but a whole lot to be sure. i could've made thousands of $$ if invested that time into translating - but that would be no fun, of course. anyway, thanks for the compliments! :)
