I almost thought about taking Russian at the Uni here but then I realised that I already know one worthless language that no one in America speaks so why learn another.

wise decision. russian is very hard to learn. they say. i learned it a long time ago. but honestly, i want to study another useless language -- chinese

yeah its very rare taht I encounter germans in my day to day life here unless I go to the German department at the uni

well, i guess that sort of propaganda would be lost on you anyway. but the bad thing it's boring and very uninformative (as far as i can judge). anyway, you can't believe a single word in it so what's the point
