I at first thought the shapes on the other side of the bay (if I'm correct there's water there?) in pics 7 & 8 were part of an ice shelf, but then I decided they were more likely to be buildings?

they are buildings, and there's no water there in fact. it's forest seen from a mountain. this is a closup:
