I interviewed this six-year-old girl as part of a research project studying a peace education program, and the girl used a Russian word.
It sounded like FAH-shull. She said it meant to "break the peace," as in to not be nice, or not do what you're supposed to, or not follow the rules. I tried looking it up, but can't find it. Do you know what word she's talking about?
the only word i can think about is 'narushAt'', which means disturb; break; upset; disrupt; impair, affect, infringe (upon), violate, transgress; break et cetera. that's a long shot, but otherwise, it doesn't sound like anything at all to me. except maybe fascism, which is pronounced the same way as in english, but the 'a' sounds like 'a' in 'car' and the LAST syllable is stressed.
