This is something I've always wondered about people/portrait photography.. How do you take photos of people without they notice or before they notice? I always feel akward just taking photos of random people, and it always seems to ruin it when they see you and start to act akward..

well, some of them notice you, some don't [some even pose]. but one way or the other, you usually have to work fast. i have instant autofocus, which helps a lot
