i think this picture sucks, but i don't know why. it has some interesting detail, but something is wrong [composition fuck-up?]

Vertical lines are lacking. Rotate the image until the main vertical line is vertical, then re-crop.

The second of these is a big improvement, the first at least doesn't bother the eye with the not-vertical vertical line.

Yeah, tried that as well
but didn't find it very satisfying,
it is a pity to lose that Cats on the left.

I think you should black-frame the picture,
it would add the missing stability to it.

Nah nah nah, remember, rotation are evil bitches,
look at what they did to your poor icy thingies,
they look absurdly oblique now.

~ let me give it a try,

A little over contrasted (right word??) but much better I think.

Well, i think you may have a feeling this picture is over-contrasted
because you still have the memory of the original one all
fresh'n'vivid in your mind. But if taken individually,
out of this context, i don't think this image
would look exaggeratedly contrasted.

That very well may be the case.

макдоналд ! %(
That is simply outrageous !

The pipe on the right should be cropped in my opinion, and curves fine-tuned,
but it's a nice picture - the stalactites are lovely.

I agree.... the verticle lines make it look much better. Of course, it the McDonalds was not in it, it would be even better.

I'm no expert, so I can't quite articulate... I'll just say it reminds me of a lego set. Hope that helps...

What's that cat thing in the background?
