people in a photocommunity keep bugging me about the wooden thing in this picture that draws their attention from the main subject. i had to try my hand at some dirty photography tricks:

Actually I think the original is best. To me it adds an interesting contrast. You have this delapidated wooden pallet or step or whatever it is, the old woman's worn shoes, and then this freaky little dog with the bow in its hair.

Screw the detractors and leave it as the original.
