Did she really? I know that Kurt Cobain lived in downtown olympia when his first CD came out. Hard to believe that he was one of those "downtown people" that I see walking in herds down those sidewalks.
If she did, then I'm just amazed at the output of druggy musicians this little city puts out.
The band Sleater Kinney (http://sleater-kinney.com/) is from here, too, if you've ever heard of them. They're named after a street that's, like, a block away from my house.
you know, i'm shocked. olympia is some earthly embodiment of hell to me after i watched that film about cobain and his wife love who presumably contracted his murder. they said that cobain was so abused at school for his frail constitution that he put many layers of trousers on to look meatier, then he ran from home and lived under that bridge [something in the way]. then those olympia people who knew cobain and were intimidated by love after his death. and here are you, speaking to me from olympia. just tell, how does it feel to live in hell?
But actually, this is an abusive joke, especially designer for foreigners, since everybody should know Croa is not the sound for the crows but for the frogs.
The sound for the crows actually being coa. But i don't blame you for ruining my joke.
Well, to tell you the truth i think i only tried them once. I was only a kid then, and i have absolutely no memory of it.
I know this will come as a disapointment to a lot of foreigners who like to imagine we have snails, frogs and horses at every meal here, but that's not exactly how things go.
However, you make me curious, and if i'll find a restaurant that'll serve this kind of dish one of these night, i'll have one on your behalf.

Okay, it was in Aberdeen. Olympia is mainly where he lived when he started his band.
