The selfies are improving...
Oh, and those cell-like ones made me think of Zentangles, despite them not looking like them. Zentangles are a method of drawing complex patterns from simple rules - if you don't already know.

I've made better progress with stuff today than normal, so I'm gifting myself time here.
Look at YouTube for how to draw Zentangles - and just image search on the name to see what they look like...
