about the bulbs: i first chose the first, but then my good friend natasha said that she liked the second pic better. funny how everyone said 'first'. i'm with the crowd! i think that the second picture is more of a still-life, and i think it looks much cozier

Um, what matters in the end is that the picture is pleasing and inspiring, no ?

Of course there is this sort of intuitive idea that
art should be all natural and flowing. Accidental almost.
But well, that's not the way it works (i suppose, for i have
no pretention to be an artist, but quite surely painters and sculptors
spend hours pre-thinking and planning their realizations).

I don't think it would be fair to say an artpiece
has less merit because it was carefully worked on.
