happy ist of May to you. I studied Russian at university and even though i graduated in 1992 i still fing myself drawn to the russian laguage and people, I loved moscow and st petersburgh, I had the most fantastic experience living in Moscow, i would love to come back and see the transformation, when I was there , perestroika was happening, so it has been a long time ,

no yet but will show my artwork very soon , yes I can read russian but I need my dictionary, forgot a lot....

i am inspired to start reading russian , just reading your blog will wake the russian up. Where do you live?

i rarely write my entries in russian, but i can leave comments in russian, like: я живу в небольшом городе недалеко от москвы

if you use windows, i think you have built-in support for russian, you just need to enable it. except you also need a russian keyboard to be able to type.

sorry yes havent got russian script here , so my email gets this weird signs . How far from moscow?
went to stay in a dacha near mocow , god the mosquitos , they tortured me , got lots of photos , wd try to scan some to show you

do you live alone ?

need to get the russian alphabet for this computer so i can make a fool of myself in russian

i live some 10 km from moscow, and my parents also have a dacha some 40 km from moscow. i don't know if waht we have here are gnats or mosquitos, but in russian 'mosquito' (маскит) is a southern insect species. yes, they are awful in summer. i live with my wife.

yes those mosquitos are like tornedos , my legs were inflamed , me and my boyfriend have to live after a few days
did a most beautiful paella for my russian friends though and drank lots of vodka , you know

i think you are very talented and you visual language is excellent ,poetry photography

i would define it .

thanks. did you read laurie lee's books about spain? he travelled on foot around spain for a year just before the civil war started.

he's an english writer, he travelled for several years around england and spain. i think some of his books are still being taught in english schools. i read one, 'as i walked out one midsummer morning', i liked it a lot. it's about his travels around spain. i have never been to spain, but from how it's written i thought that he must have captured what he saw very accurately. i asked because i wanted to check that impression with someone from spain.
