Guys, for god's sake. When I make blunt mistakes in English, correct me! You don't want me to stay bilingual illiterate for the rest of my life, do you?
What was the full sentence? Better still, link to the thread, so we can see the comments as well. You could use "human shadow" or "human's shadow", depending on context.
Your English is very good in my opinion, in that there's no more gramatical errors than most native speakers seem to make in their journals.
For bad examples of English, try grammarpolice. Photographed any fruit dogs lately? :-)
ну... тогда "blunt mistakes" - правильно, но малоупотребимо и, скажем, "bilingual illiterate" - по-моему симпатичнее было бы "bilingual and/yet illiterate"
Actually a lot of Americans, especially younger ones, tend not to apply any of their writing ability when typing on the Internet, and therefore, come off as blithering idiots.
Although, "blunt" probably isn't quite the best word to describe mistakes. Blunt means "having a dull edge" or "frank, candid". How about "obvious" mistakes in English?
